Manage Form Folder & Submission
- Managing Folders
- **Access Folder Options–**Click the More icon button:
- In the folder row of the table.
- In the folder header.
- **Access Folder Options–**Click the More icon button:
- Options in Dropdown:
- Rename:
- Opens the [Rename Folder] dialog with an input field and save button.
- Enter a new name and click Save to update the folder name.
- Rename:
- Move:
- Opens the [Move] dialog with a description, search bar, and folder list.
- Select a folder. The Move button becomes enabled.
- Click Move to relocate the folder to the selected location.
- Duplicate to…:
- Opens the [Duplicate to Project] dialog with a project picker and folder picker.
- The folder picker is disabled until a project is selected.
- Select a project, then choose a folder, and click Duplicate to Project.
- Snackbar: [Duplicated to {projectName}] displays.
- Move to Trash:
- Opens a confirmation dialog with the correct folder name in the description.
- Click Move to Trash to delete the folder.
- Snackbar: [Folder moved to trash] displays.
- Managing Templates
**Access Template Options–**Click the More icon button:
- In the template row of the table.
- In the template header.
- Options in Dropdown:
- View Form:
- Opens the template for viewing.
- The header contains Edit Template and Create Submission buttons.
- Create Submission:
- Opens the [New Submission] dialog.
- Edit:
- Opens the Form Builder with a banner at the top (only for users with editing permissions).
- Move:
- Opens the [Move] dialog with a description, search bar, and folder list.
- Select a folder. The Move button becomes enabled.
- Click Move to relocate the template to the selected location.
- Duplicate to…:
- Opens the [Duplicate to Project] dialog with a project picker and folder picker.
- The folder picker is disabled until a project is selected.
- Select a project, then choose a folder, and click Duplicate to Project.
- Snackbar: [Duplicated to {projectName}] displays.
- Move to Trash:
- Opens a confirmation dialog with the correct template name in the description.
- Click Move to Trash to delete the template.
- Snackbar: [Template moved to trash] displays.
Bulk Actions for Folders & Templates
- Select Multiple Items:
- Use the checkboxes to select multiple folders or templates.
- A header appears at the top showing {amount} selected with options to:
- Clear Selection: Click the clear icon button to unselect items.
- Move to Trash: Opens a [Move to Trash] dialog showing the total number of selected items.
- Click Move to Trash:
- Items are deleted, and a snackbar displays: [{amount} items moved to trash].
- Favorites Management
- Add to Favorites:
- Hover over the Star icon in the folder or template row.
- Tooltip: [Add to favorite] appears.
- Click the star. It becomes filled, and the item is added to the favorites section.
- Remove from Favorites:
- Hover over the filled Star icon.
- Tooltip: [Remove from favorite] appears.
Click the star. It becomes outlined, and the item is removed from the favorites section.
Manage Trashed Items
- Access Trash
- In the left panel, click “Trash” to open the Trash space.
- A banner appears at the top with the trash management rules and an “Empty Trash” button.
- Empty Trash
- Click the “Empty Trash” button.
- A dialog appears: “All items will be deleted and won’t be able to restore.”
- Click Delete Forever to permanently delete all trashed items.
- Snackbar displays: [All items deleted forever.]
- Select and Manage Trashed Items
- Select Items:
- Use checkboxes to select one or multiple trashed items.
- A header appears at the top showing {amount} selected with three options:
- Clear Selection: Click the clear icon button to unselect all items.
- Delete Forever:
- Opens a dialog confirming deletion of the selected items.
- Click Delete Forever. Items are permanently deleted.
- Snackbar displays: [{amount} items deleted forever.]
- Select Items:
- Restore:
- Click to restore selected items to their original location.
- Snackbar displays: [Name or {amount} items restored!]
- Double-Click to Restore
- Double-click on a specific trashed item.
- The [Item is in trash] dialog opens with options:
- Click Restore to recover the item. Snackbar displays: [Item restored.]
- Click Cancel to exit the dialog.
- Permissions and Platform Availability
- Manager Role Only: By default, only users with the Manager role can access the Trash feature.
- Web App Exclusive: This feature is only available in the web application.
