🚧 How to Start a Project in GoBuid

Who can create a project?

Only users with these roles can start a project:

  • Owner
  • Co-Owner
  • Project Manager

βœ… Create & Set Up a Project

  1. Go to the Projects page.
  2. Tap the βž• New Project button.
  3. Enter your Project Name, Location, and Duration (Start & End Dates).
  4. Once created, you’ll automatically become the Project Manager (this role can’t be changed).
  5. You can now add people, assign roles, and set team tags.


πŸ‘₯ Access & Collaboration

  • Add team members based on your project needs:
    • Internal Roles like Project Manager, Safety Supervisor, etc.
    • External Roles for collaborators who can edit but not view budget or manage attendance.
  • Not everyone has project creation accessβ€”some users must be invited by a manager.

  • Pin a project to keep it at the top of your list.

    Inside a project, switch between:

    • Progress
    • Manpower
    • Equipment
    • Budget
    • Forms
    • Tasks
