4. Manage notification settings

GoBuid notifications help you stay updated on project activity, approvals, mentions, reminders, and issue summaries.

You can manage notification settings from both the web app and mobile app.

Browser notifications

Browser notifications send real-time desktop alerts for approvals, mentions, reminders, and other activity related to your role and projects.

To receive browser notifications:

  1. Open notification settings in GoBuid.
  2. Find Browser notifications .
  3. Choose All Notifications .
  4. Allow notifications in your browser if prompted.

If browser notifications are disabled in your browser, GoBuid will show a message asking you to enable browser notifications in your browser settings and refresh the page.

To stop browser notifications, choose Nothing .

When Nothing  is selected, you will not receive browser notifications from GoBuid.

Issue summary notifications

Issue summary notifications help you stay on top of items that need attention.

You can turn summaries on or off and choose how they are sent.

Available delivery methods may include:

  • Push notifications
  • Email

Daily issue summary

To set up a daily issue summary:

  1. Open notification settings.
  2. Turn on Daily issue summary .
  3. Choose how GoBuid should send the summary, such as push notifications, email, or both.
  4. Choose the frequency.
  5. Choose the send time.
  6. Save your changes.

For example, you can receive a weekday issue summary at a selected time by push notification and email.

Weekly assignment summary

The weekly assignment summary sends a weekly email summary of assignments.

To use it:

  1. Open notification settings.
  2. Turn on Weekly assignment summary .
  3. Review the scheduled send time shown in GoBuid.
  4. Save your changes.

The weekly assignment summary is sent by email.

Manage notifications on mobile

On mobile, notification settings may include both device permissions and GoBuid issue summary settings.

To manage mobile notifications:

  1. Open the GoBuid mobile app.
  2. Tap your avatar.
  3. Go to Settings .
  4. Open notification settings.
  5. Update your notification permissions and issue summary settings.
  6. Save your changes.

If push notifications are not working, check that notifications are allowed in your phone settings for the GoBuid app.
